A neighborhood association is a group of community members who work together for changes and improvements such as neighborhood safety, beautification, social activities, and look out for each neighbor. Some meet monthly, some meet quarterly, and some communicate through online communications. Community and neighborhood safety begins with personal safety. Part of being safe is knowing what possible dangers or hazards there are and taking steps to prevent crime and protect yourself. If you are interested in forming a neighborhood association, please call Anh Tran at (408) 535-4904 or email district4@sanjoseca.gov. My office can provide resources and support to establish a neighborhood association in your area today!
